Parque Del Norte is a bit of a drive from SJ but worth coming for a chill beach park experience! Parking is free and the location/ beach / river views are breathtaking. The only draw back is during the day there’s not much shade and it’s too hot so the carnival rides are not as attractive to ride in. I would probably recommend to come later in the afternoon or early in the morning.
If your into raw natural beaches then this spot is for you. Unprotected open beach. Mother nature at its finest. Add a small park where you can sit and relax and enjoy the raw beauty and you have one of the best places to visit and take it all in.
This park never disappoints with its beauty, facilities, and activities. Recent additions include swings and amusement rides. Finally, the beach is an ever changing landscape of river, sand, and sea. It is a perfect place to spend time with nature. Remember to take care of our resources!!

2 months agoA great place to spend time with friends and family, rent a bike, also ride amusement machines. A restaurant is available and a gift shop also.
