literally paradise on Earth , i will never not visit this place any time i visit the motherland 💓🇵🇷 this was the most beautifully peaceful place ive ever experienced. i wish i could live here. but my soul is always here for me🙏🏼🩷💗🥲
This is a gorgeous park and great for birdwatching. There are beautiful views of the ocean and dramatic coastline, and many areas where you can walk around and explore. We spent a good 2 hours wandering around and looking for birds. Although the grass had all been recently mowed, the park is in some serious need of maintenance. All the benches and picnic tables were falling apart and the buildings were abandoned or in ruins. The graffitied gate at the entrance had a fence with a hole in it that you could crawl through, but you could also walk around the gate to get inside. I am not sure whether this place was actually open or abandoned, but Google and various website said it is open 24 hours. Nevertheless it is a beautiful place and we had a nice visit.
Gorgeous! A nice place to go for a walk. You will see stray dogs but they didn’t bother us. If you take little ones hold on to them because it can be dangerous. But for the adults there I’m sure you will be able to define what you can and shouldn’t do. It was a beautiful site to see.
Just wrapped up a hike at Cerro Gordo in Vega Alta—what a gem.
The trail hits that sweet spot: challenging enough to feel rewarding, but not so tough that it drains you. The best part? The ocean views. Absolutely breathtaking. There's something about watching the waves roll in from up high that resets your soul a little. If you’re into nature, movement, and serenity all in one, this spot’s worth lacing up for.
