$98 for a gel manicure and pedicure.
The manicure:
Cracked the next day, went to get it fixed and they wanted to apply a coat over the cracked and lifted gel. I had to say something for them to remove the gel and re-apply. The next day (third day) most of my nails have lifted, gotten air bubbles or chipped (see pictures). Plus, the application was horrible.
The pedicure:
Horrible. The pedicure did not even include cuticle removal nor did they properly remove dead skin. Also, they cut all my toenails in differente shapes/sizes and applied the gel polish all over my cuticles, they have all lifted 2 days later.
Avoid.
Saw Lotus Nails does their acrylics at around $50, checked Happy Nails and saw $25 acrylics on their board amd went for it. I was clear that I wanted the $25 nails that included the color. Ended up paying the same or more I would've at Lotus. Happy Nails employees will do anything to charge you more money. Any minute detail, even if they mess up a nail and have to re-do it, they want to charge. Ended up paying over $50 because they said so (they used gel without asking me. I wanted regular nail polish. In no moment did they tell me they would use gel instead and that they would charge me more money for it). Super unprofessional behavior from the nail techs (the types of conversations they sustain, very loud, obnoxious behavior, etc) and my nails don't look great either. They just look like a clump of paint layers. I had a feeling the staff was misbehaving and overcharging because their boss is currently out (heck, one of the nail techs had their kid eating fast food at the nail tables, blasting youtube), but from reading other comments I can see these bad practices are the norm here. I should have followed my intuition and gone to Lotus Nails. Now I know.
Not a great experience. Nail tech person was super nice, but she did a very poor job on my nails. Firstly, she filed down my nails so much that they are literally too brittle and sensitive to even have them without nail polish on. Like literally, i can bend my nails back because of how thin they are. I thought this might be normal since I’m still somewhat new to getting gel done but nope.
Then the finished product did not even look good. It has many spots where the color is not even, in all the nails.
Price was also a bit on the more expensive side.
Overall not a great experience. Definitely won’t be coming back here.
I went there on a Tuesday and it was empty the lady who attended me Vanessa was very nice. I thought she did a great service until I got out and my gel nail manicure was still streaky and she didn’t even put a lot of product on it, I also got a pedicure and it was good but did a horrible job with gel. She charged me $94 for both and I only did gel. I would definitely not go again!
