Me and my family have been clients of the Manicurissima Salon for over 20 years and I must say that its fantastic. Everything from manicures to pedicures to hair is flawlesss. This salon is family owned and operated and I must say that they take tremendous pride in thier work, the salon is always spotless, towls are fresh and the atmosphere is always plesant and jovial.
I went is yesterday for my bye weekly pedi and mani and I was in and out in record time, and my hands and feet are just as fanatstic as when i come in for a leisurely session. My manicurist Annie is phenomenal and her mother Tina is just magnificent. If you are looking for a great salon in a great location this is the place to go. The staff is fully bilingual so its just as good for tourists as it is for locals.
This is thee WORST experience I have EVER had when getting a pedicure. She did not file at all, every single one of my toes are different sizes, I had to translate and asked her nicely several times to file them down even, she still didn’t asked the owners which speak very fluent English to tell her to and she still didn’t. Not to mention she kept stopping to watch tv 4 times ( yes I counted ) made two phone calls and got 3 more calls in which she sat on the phone and talked all while trying to do my nails. The owners let her do whatever she wanted never made her fix anything, and the receptionist had the audacity to ask me to leave her a tip, and to know me is to know I went slap the hell off after that a tip? Then she’s says yeah I’ll speak with her about that after you already speaking with her about that and she did nothing. And I had to tell her to polish another coat so Suomi wouldn’t see my toenails other than that she would’ve left it, or she tried to. Melanie was very kind but this is by far the worst work I’ve ever seen for this price. This isn’t typical PR nail prices and for no additional nail tips this is pretty insane. I will not be returning here and highly recommend others looking elsewhere if you want great nail work for an affordable price.
Worst french manicure I've ever gotten. The girls in the salon working there had beautiful french manicures and this is what they gave me. They didn't even give me a light nude/pink background for underneath the white they gave me a horrible bright pink base. The technician cut me several times and destroyed my cuticle bed. I tried to correct the job several times but he pretended to not understand what I meant each time. They did offer to remove it and give me something different but after sitting there for two hours for this outcome I couldn't bear it. The man at the front was very nice and apologized about the whole thing. I don't recommend coming here
