Excellent property with clean, well-equipped rooms and lots of helpful amenities, like an outdoor shower, beach towels, and chairs. Beach access was easy and Sandy Beach is beautiful. The property has parking and some nice big shade trees. We really enjoyed picking up some beers at the grocery and sitting on the porch at night listening to the coqui, waves, and music from the surrounding bars. Overall great experience.
Great place to stay but the other reviews are a bit overrated. Because of that I was a little disappointed at first, but the house grew on me. I’d stay again!
Pros:
- Thoughtfully equipped with chairs, towels, coffee etc.
- located by great restaurants and coffee. Also access to one of the more swimmable beaches in the area.
- Friendly, helpful owners.
- Comfortable beds
- Very clean
Cons
- Bring earplugs either the restaurant music or the street noise will keep you up or wake you up.
- NOT steps away from the beach more like a five minute walk. Really it’s quite doable. I was just expecting closer because of the reviews.
- Sunset beach views are obstructed by another building. Again, not a big issue just wasn’t prepared.
I loved it! Clean and kitchen had everything I needed. No ac in the sala but kicking in the bedroom. U can open the door to this room and dan out the ac. The house will cool off significantly but keep in mind the beach is across the street. Outside shower is awesome. U do have a shower in the apartment. I loved showering outside after the beach. It's a must stay!
The rooms are decent. The place is clean inside. Comfortable beds. Cute decor. Small bathroom. The wifi is basically unusable it's so slow and doesn't consistently connect and the cellular service is about non existent. Close to a couple bars and bar type food places. No direct beach access. Not as close to the beach as the airbnb website made it seem. For the price it's not bad. Not luxury by any stretch. Wish the wifi was better. Would probably stay again.
