Wow! This place was just incredible and perfect. I felt like I was at my aunt’s house, enjoying a meal, relaxing, and chatting. It truly lives up to the hype, even if there’s a long line. Don’t worry—the line moves quickly!
Once you step inside, the decor is very traditional, and all the waitstaff are friendly, helpful, and incredibly patient with their customers. The food was delicious, and the sangria we had was a perfect 20 out of 10. The atmosphere was super laid-back. I will definitely visit here every time I go to Puerto Rico!
The food was really enjoyable, and we appreciated that we only had to wait about 5 minutes in line for lunch. The cleanliness of the place stood out, and the service was excellent. Overall, a very positive experience!
Had the best experience at this Puerto Rican restaurant! The food was absolutely delicious – full of flavor and made with so much love. Our waiter Luis was amazing and went above and beyond to explain the menu, share recommendations, and make sure we understood all the different dishes! You could tell he really cared about making our visit special!
It was worth the wait! I’ve been twice now with an average ~45 minute wait time. The food is delicious with hefty portions, servers are attentive (special shout out to Sandra who has been my waitress both times), and the drinks are cold. Your meal will start with a free plantain soup and bacalao fritters, and will end with a free shot. I will definitely be back (again)!
I came here because of an influencer on IG. The place always had a line wrapped around, with a wait of about 30 mins long. The decor is very homey with plantains and plants hanging all around as the main decor of the place. They have seating on two levels. We sat on the top level. Their menu is limited and to the point. I ordered their coconut arepas stuffed with crabs as an appetizer, fried pork chops and my friend ordered their garlic shrimp both came with yellow rice. I did not like the taste of the crab, it was stewed and frankly didn't taste like crab meat at all to me. The arepa itself was tasty. I enjoyed my pork chops though they were on the small side. My friend did not enjoy his garlic shrimp, it was lacking flavor. Overall, the experience was much to be desired and the food was overpriced. I forgot to mention they gave us a soup before our meals, I believe it was green plantain, that was very tasty.
