I waited over an hour to be sat for my husband and I. So the fact that I gave them a 5 stars should speak for itself. The food is EXQUISITE. One of the best meals I’ve had in a while. But what truly stood out was the service. They had like 3-4 servers for the whole restaurant yet they made it flow effortlessly. Specifically Ilbin. That man was like a machine it was insane. He acted as hostess, waiter, busboy, etc. in an immensely busy environment and STILL had the most attentive service I’ve seen in a while. He continued to check in on us while we were waiting and tell us the update without us even asking. He deserves 10 stars alone. He really made our experience a 5. Because the wait alone was rough. But his service surmounted any bad experience.
This place was amazing. Foods were amazing. We had Risotto De Pork Belly and Guava ribs. Risotto was very creamy and delicious. Guava ribs were great, we really liked the sauce. I felt ribs were a bit hard, which means it may be a bit old, but still they tasted great. We had a bowl of rice that came together with Guava ribs and that was soooo good. I personally enjoyed that rice even more than the Guava ribs. The restaurant vibe was great, my wife especially liked the scent. There's a scent that you can smell inside the restaurant, some sort of aroma oil or something. Anyway, it smelled nice. Water was charged for 5 dollars, so for those who are drink-lovers, just order some drinks other than water. The only downside thing was we received our orders finally after waiting 1 hour and 7 minutes. I heard and saw some reviews about slow services in PR, but it was mt first time experiencing it. We were starving really. Anyway, other than that long waiting, the foods were perfect.
My husband and I had dinner there while on vacation the food was delicious. The meat just fell apart like butter. Our server was great she answered questions we had about the good and came and checked on us regularly. The atmosphere was great would definitely go back on our neck visit
📍 Location & Atmosphere
Located in the art-inspired district of San Juan, MUSA offers a stylish and modern setting with a contemporary art vibe. The space is clean, bright, and creatively designed—definitely a reflection of the artistic energy in the area. It’s a great spot for brunch if you appreciate a visually inspiring backdrop.
🍽️ Food & Drinks
We came for brunch, and the portions did not disappoint. My friend ordered the crème brûlée pancakes, which were indulgent and beautifully presented. I went with the Mongolian hashbrowns, and they were packed with flavor and a generous amount of toppings. The food was rich, satisfying, and clearly crafted with attention to both flavor and presentation.
👨🍳 Service & Hospitality
Unfortunately, the service left a bit to be desired. Our server didn’t mention the extended wait time—nearly 50 minutes—nor did they check in much throughout. While the food made up for some of the delay, the lack of communication and attentiveness was noticeable, especially since we had to rush to our next event.
💡 Unique Selling Point
MUSA stands out for its bold, artistic setting and generously portioned, visually stunning brunch plates. While the service could use improvement, it’s still a worthwhile stop for those who appreciate creativity on the plate and in the space around them.
I was soooo excited to some here for my birthday. I wasn’t sure what the ambiance would be, nor my experience - but i feel like anyone would be better off anywhere else. we had the ribs (7/10), queso frito (8/10), the chicken and waffle (6/10), mac and cheese (8/10), dumplings (4/10) and rice which i did not like at all but my bf rated it (5/10). service was 2 stars out of 5 only because i was disappointed at the fact our server (derys) was paying more attention to tables more than 2 guests. it was my birthday, my boyfriend made this reservation and for the “complimentary dessert” we were charged $15. for that, we would have asked for the dessert menu and ordered something i actually would have enjoyed. nothing crazy or special here. i personally suggest you dine in elsewhere. HOWEVER! The portions are good! i feel like they always are in puerto rico but the service won’t always be 100%. here, i uploaded food, and ambiance to save anyone from confusion.
