Santaella was hands down the best dining experience we had in San Juan. Every dish was bursting with flavor and presented magnificently, the cocktails were delicious and balanced, and the service was warm, attentive, and genuine. The atmosphere is vibrant yet intimate, making it feel special without being stuffy. Yes, it’s pricier than most spots in San Juan, but the quality easily matches Michelin-level restaurants in NYC. Absolutely worth every penny and HIGHLY recommended!
10/10 dining experience. Sat at the bar with my husband to celebrate our first anniversary. Lucky for us, they had our favorite wine on their wine list so we started the night with a bottle. Our dishes arrived in a steady manner, and everything we ate was incredible. Service was spectacular, and we were very well attended to.
Food was incredible! The foie gras was rich and creamy. The veal cheeks melted like butter and the pork shank was flavorful. Would come back here in a heartbeat.
We came here for dinner and had a great time. The food here is absolutely amazing and delicious! We shared some appetizers. I highly recommend the croquettes. We also shared the truffle quesadillas and I loved it so much that I ordered it as my main dish as well.
We placed an order for the pizza and that took forever to come. They gave our pizza to a different table and had to remake it.
The service here is also very slow - expect to be sitting for a while. They also only have one bathroom so the lines were long.
Overall the food was amazing but the service was lacking.
Best restaurant in Puerto-Rico hands down. The service was phenomenal 👏, I didn't even know who our waiter was because they all checked on us constantly. Also you must try the watermelon mojito, it was so refreshing and light. The empanadas where great and not greasy at all. The roasted pork leg i had was kinda sweet, it reminded me of the turkey leg from Disney world, if you know you know. I will definitely return to this restaurant, it was fantastic. Also its very expensive not going to lie, but worth every penny.
