Food was amazing and is open all night so it’s perfect for a late drunk night to stop by. The food took more than 30min to come to me but it was great and had no issues waiting. Plenty of options on the menu and plenty of options to sit wherever you’d like. There’s a strip club right in front of it.
I had the red snapper that I saw everyone talking about. My fish was fried very hard and dry. I was shocked that the price doubled from the Sunday's advertised price of $15. The fish was $30. My virgin Piña colada and calamari were good. I should have stopped ordering once I had the Piña colada and calamari especially since it took about 20 minutes for the fish to arrive to my table. However, I loved the open sitting and the music.
During Memorial Day weekend, we flew over to San Juan, P.R. for the weekend. We rented a car and started to explore. We saw this place and decided to try it.
We weren't sure what to order, so we asked other customers, and they recommended the camarones dishes. Those tasted very good and were fresh. This was a good choice. The owner was very nice, and the service was quick and attentive. The ambiance was relaxed, friendly, and casual.
Their food is supposed to be cheap; but it’s a seafood restaurant so it’s easy to overspend. I go here because it’s open until around 2am and close to my apartment. I order little things like deditos de pescado and surrillos, or some tostones . The food quality of thise items is so so. I’ve never had the whole fried fish here. The beer is ice cold, the service staff is Dominican so it’s a loud party vibe all the time. They also have Virgin pina colada for $6. Big tv and they love basketball so if their is a game on ask to switch the channel :)
