D’la Isla is a local restaurant that shows a lot of potential, and it seems they’re still finding their footing. They expect to be operating at full capacity next month with new offerings on the menu, which I’m looking forward to trying. Parking in front of the restaurant is limited, but there’s a larger lot conveniently located across the street.
Inside, D’la Isla has a bar featuring classic cocktails and a few unique recipes, including their signature D’la Isla cocktail—a sweet and refreshing blend that’s perfect for unwinding. I tried the mushroom risotto, which was well-cooked and generously portioned, though it could benefit from a more refined presentation.
With plenty of seating available, it was surprisingly quiet on a Sunday afternoon. I plan to return in December to see how they’ve evolved and to check out the new additions. If they keep building on what they’ve started, D’la Isla could become a go-to spot!
Place is very clean and pleasantly attractive to inquisitive eye. Waitresses were fast and attentive. The food was very tasty, an authentic puertorican flavor. The unisex bathroom was clean. The furniture needs some repairs…
