Island Scuba

This was an incredible dive. We did the discover scuba with Nayda and then were able to explore the deep beautiful ocean off the coast of Guánica. Nayda was very descriptive and my gf and I who were first timers got the hang of it and she made us feel safe. She was also sure to point out lots of marine life we would have otherwise missed such as sharks, lobster, lion fish, eel, and many other fish. Pedro was a great captain and host as well. Can’t wait to come back to PR and go back to Island Scuba!

I had the chance of diving with Island Scuba on my last trip to PR. 3 days and 6 amazing dives. They made it very easy to schedule the dives and even when I was the only diver during the slow weekdays, they did not cancel on me which I appreciated very much. My dive guide Pedro was very knowledgeable of the dive site and we went to amazing sites along The Wall. We got to see caribbean reef sharks on every deep dive and it was a nice surprise to find a lot of life and fairly healthy coral reef ecosystem in the wall and during our shallow dives. Overall I would recommend Island Scuba to anyone looking for a great Scuba diving experience in PR. Do believe it is more suitable for experienced (at least AOW or deep certification) who are comfortable with being fairly independent during the dive

We were staying in San Juan and the weather and swell were bad so we called here and the weather was good and the staff was very accommodating! They created a link to check out and texted the number we call from for us to easily book. They were very friendly when checking in in the morning! The boat was a short walk from the shop, they quickly got us what we needed for the day! We got on boat and headed out, the boat crew was great, helpful and friendly! Got out and did two dives, the captain chummed for the sharks to follow us and then fed them! This was a neat shark dive! Round trip with both dives we were out at 6:55 then had dove and got back at 10 leaving a full day to continue to enjoy! This was a great start to the day! Great dive shop all around, will be back! Thank you! They even gave us a sticker after diving and they had some good dive stuff, shirts and more to shop while there!

Fantastic experience ! We dove with the lemon sharks on the wall and it was very impressive, NATGEO worthy and world class. I would suggest this shark dive is for experienced divers. Second dive on the reef was fabulous. The visibility was not the greatest that day (according to the crew) but I found it to be good. Lots of reef life, great variety. Might I add I run my own dive operation and dive most every day and this outfit impressed me. As Arnold would say : "I'll Be Back!"

I've dove with Island Scuba now a couple of times and they are the best. Both Nayda and Pedro are awesome guides -- kind and friendly, super knowledgable of the area, the wildlife, and the best dive sites in Guánica. On my most recent dives, we saw so many Caribbean Reef Sharks, many different species of fish and invertebrates, stingray, and even dolphins. Unforgettable dives every time! Can't wait to dive with them again.
