Huge supermarket with large selections of everything at the usual so-so prices. Place was teeming with employees when we arrived. Maybe re-arranging the store. They were very helpful. Last two times we were there was an electrical issue; the registers were not able to operate. I don’t know why the doors were even open. Also they have a visibly armed fuse at the door. Not too comforting. There were enough cashiers today; check out was quick.
The store needs a little of TLC. I found what I was looking for the Carla's sweets treats. The products are more expensive than Econo Supermarkets.At this store you still need to buy the bags. The parking okay.
Great supermarket with wide range of fruits and veggies, good selection of meat and cheese products, and lots of other goodies for your stay on Arecibo. The young staff are knowledgeable about the store inventory, very helpful, and always polite and with great smiles. The coffee, wine and liquor inventory selection is great as well. No need to drive to Hatillo! All that traffic yuck!
