Very attractive place, shops on ground floor with restaurants on upper level. Great hanging garden ( Not quite Babylon style). Some pretty expensive alcohol if you drink the stuff. Toilets are spotlessly clean and free. Probably better at night when more is open.
Go up here to the spar, decent selection of stuff for self catering, nice selection of ready made food,ie: lasagne, rice, potatoes, & lots of other bits that you can buy by the tub, so easy, fresh fruit & veg is good, the cakes in the cabinet are good as well, only downside no fresh milk, we did ask someone & he showed us long life.
Let me start by saying this review is purely based on my personal experience at The Market in Puerto Rico, Gran Canaria and that experience mostly involved being the designated bag holder on a family shopping mission.
Now, the place itself is tidy and modern, with a bunch of stylish shops and casual eateries. If you enjoy browsing beauty products, fashion, or cute little boutiques, then you’ll probably be right at home here. But for me? I stepped into the first shop (Primor, I think it was called), took one look around, and noped right back out. Not my scene at all.
I spent the rest of the visit sat on one of the benches, people-watching and waiting for my family to finish shopping. Peaceful enough, sure, but also mind-numbingly dull if you're not into shopping or café-hopping. It’s one of those places that’s definitely suited to a certain type of holiday-goer, just not this one.
To be fair, it’s clean, well-kept and has a bit of an upmarket feel to it. It’s just not somewhere I’d rush back to unless I’m needed again to carry bags and offer the occasional “yeah, that looks nice” from the sidelines.
Clean and modern but I was hoping for a better shopping experience as this mall is directed at tourists with more money than sense. Across the road a large Spar can be found which is worth a visit.
