Ikebana Sushi Bar – Guaynabo

Place is lovely, we were seated right away, no reservation during lunch time. We ordered a steak with plantain sushi and a Pacific one. Both were very delicious! I'm a sushi fan and these have been one of the best ones that I've tried so far. The steak and plantain combination is so tasty. Service was okay, nothing too friendly. They have no tap water, you have to pay for a bottle. Taking off one star because they don't offer WiFi. Would come back for the tasty food.

I was so happy with the sushi we got here! The flavor profile was unique and delicious. We also got the sashimi which tasted fresh. The kiwi martini was tasty! Our waitress was pleasant and attentive. My husband and I really enjoyed our dinner. Thank you for an enjoyable evening!

Sushi here is good but it is more like a fusion than traditional sushi. The spicy avocado crab salad was good and huge quantity in comparison to other restaurants. Sushi was fresh and tasty. The spicy tuna roll was my least favorite here because it was not spicy at all but the Sidney roll was good. The service here was good,our waiter was efficient and friendly but they took too long to bring our food. In general, Ikebana was good but not as great as other sushi bar restaurants in Puerto Rico.

Welcoming and friendly. The staff are all bilingual, which is the first time I've seen this! Seating outside, under a unique covering; it's transparent! Daily lunch specials! Upon entering, was greeted by Jeanlee. She is a true professional! Attractive and intelligent. She was my server, for the experience! Very refreshing and relaxing atmosphere. The surround sound music was a variety of smooth classic's. Many different areas to dine, or just relax and enjoy your time. The Sushi is the best on the Island! I decided on sitting outside, but the weather wasn't cooperating. Jeanlee, assisted with my alternate seating arrangement She looks like a Geisha! I will be asking for her upon returning! The Chefs are visible with their craft, at back of the restaurant! The decor has the Oriental flavor. Many cameras were seen, outside and inside, for your protection and privacy; so you can truly relax! It was an all female staff, except the Bartender. The bar, is longest one I've seen! Fully equipped with everything you can think of! House drinks are tasty and refreshing. I ended up dining in an area which was warmer, according to Jeanlee! The temperature was cold! If you like the cold; this restaurant is for you! Many large screen television were seen in statigic locations. The menu is very extensive with fried to raw meats and seafood. I had many samples of different foods and sake; hot or cold! Highly recommend! Will be back, like soon! Children are always welcomed. Handicap parking and entrance with tables to accommodate.☘️🇵🇷
