This place has fabulous, fresh, sushi! Sadly, My pictures do not do it justice. The “Art” of sushi! Great presentation and great flavor, good portions. They are new and I hope they do well I highly recommend!!
The inside is small for dine in, there is bar style seating available which is my only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 on atmosphere. They are friendly, welcoming and I wish them well!! We will return!
Amazing presentation!!
Super sweet staff, the chef even gave us 2 chicken gyoza to try with a chill oil he made. Super affordable, I would def recommend this place to anyone who enjoys sushi and dumplings. My favorite plate was the chicken dumplings and my friends was the smoked salmon sushi! 🍣 🥟
A Delicious Discovery in Isabela: Koraru 🍣🔥
We recently visited Koraru in Isabela for the first time — and what a fantastic experience! Although we had ordered from them before via the Manjar To Go app (and loved the Barney Sesame Wings and Mizuki Roll with sashimi), this was our first time dining at the actual location.
We tried the spicy salmon and spicy tuna yaki onigiri — both were absolutely divine, full of flavor and perfectly grilled. We also had the Ikari wings, which were crispy, bold, and seasoned to perfection. Every dish was beautifully proportioned and satisfying without being overwhelming.
The place itself is cozy and more of a takeout-style spot, but it does have two small tables if you want to eat in. It’s simply decorated with Japanese elements and has a calm, welcoming atmosphere. No music, but the peaceful vibe makes it perfect for a casual, flavorful meal.
Service was friendly and quick, and the staff took the time to explain the menu when needed. Prices are very fair — honestly, 10/10 for value and quality. It's easy to find, and although there’s no dedicated parking, we had no trouble finding a spot at the nearby plaza around 6 PM.
Whether you’re grabbing a quick bite or sitting down for something special, Koraru is definitely worth a visit. Highly recommended for couples, friends, or anyone craving fresh, bold Japanese-inspired flavors in the west of Puerto Rico!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
The sushi was flavorful and fresh, as was the stir fried Jasmine rice. I was pleasantly surprised by the seaweed in the soup! The staff is friendly! The chef came out and was nice enough to describe menu items and even showed us the very salmon he used in preparing the sushi!
We walked around the square while waiting for the order, and when we went to pickup, the chef had prepared a sushi sampler with tuna and salmon. It was so good we dug in and didn't take any pictures! 😂 Next time!
This is a nice spot for a date or small crowd (6ppl or fewer). I suggest ordering to go if you have a large crowd as seating is limited.
Overall, a very pleasant atmosphere and the food is affordable and healthy!
Thanks from Dr. Davis and family, we will be back!
