We had such a lovely experience with Jose! He was the very best guide. Yes, it’s an early morning, but it was SO worth it to beat all the other groups! We had my parents with us, who are 72 (and very active), but José made sure they were comfortable through all of the muddy adventures! Heidi does such a great job preparing you ahead of time with what to wear and expect. We look forward to returning to H&J sometime again soon!

Amazingggg hands down best experience José was so sweet very professional and treated my family like his own… the tour started off at 4:50 am for us ranging from ages 7-20 didn’t know how my girls would do that early, but they did so good my daughters had a blast we stopped for breakfast. Had the forest to ourselves, then finished off with a nice lunch! Heidi was the best it was my daughter’s birthday and they surprised her with sweet gifts! A couple of my girls were scared and by the end they did everything. jose made them feel so comfortable and was a professional during this hike!!! Thank you this was definitely the highlight of our trip!! ❤️ you guys treated us like family and made this experience very memorable. Hope to do it again in the future with you all highly recommend!!!

BOOK THIS TRIP! If you want an amazing trip with waterfalls, rock water slides, rope swings, and rock jumps before any other adventure company brings their groups, then only book with H and J Adventure. They prepare you every step of the way with clear communication and expectations. The day starts early, you get picked up and stop for breakfast and then off to the jungle. You’re the first vehicle in the parking lot. The first group at the river, and the only group at all the special spots. You get to experience it like no other. Jose is a wealth of knowledge about the area, the plants, and the community. He also takes amazing photos for you to have lasting memories! Jose makes you feel safe throughout the entire hike and like family before the trip is over.

Loved our rainforest tour with Jose! He was kind, courteous, and so knowledgeable. Going early was not my ideal when I registered for the tour, but as we left the rainforest dozens of tours were pouring into the area. We felt like we had the whole rainforest to ourselves and we got to truly experience her vast beauty and tranquility. The cafe breakfast and delicious lunch stops gave us a real snapshot of Puerto Rican cuisine. I cannot recommend this company enough!

My girlfriend and I had an incredible experience with the H&J Yunque Rainforest tour. Heidi was transparent and very communicative prior to our tour with Jose. Our guide Jose was right on time picking us up in the morning and had some amazing breakfast before the tour. Jose was very informative and helpful during the hike. We felt safe as Jose provided us with a life jacket and helmet, we also enjoyed learning about the Rainforest and it's history. After the hike we grabbed some lunch at a local food market which is delicious and had some for leftovers! Jose treated us like family and on the way back home gave us his recommendation on his favorite restaurants, beaches and places to hang out! I highly recommend this tour as you won't be disappointed.
