Frescura Vegan Kitchen

If you are looking for THE BEST vegan restaurant in Puerto Rico, you've found it in Frescura! From it's convenient location and parking to daily specials - there is nothing I have tasted that I did not enjoy. Each day they have great specials, lemonades, desserts, and coffee/matcha. I've tried their lasagna, orange "chicken" with fried rice, Asian combo with pepper "steak" and rice, and the list goes on! Their fixed menu also has fantastic options from burgers to salads. Please, please, please don't forget to take dessert with you. The homemade nutella and limon/blueberry cakes are my absolute favorite! It's so convenient and easy to get there or order for delivery. What's better? They've extended their hours! If you're looking for great service and memorable vegan food, Frescura is your new go-to spot!

I would come back to Puerto Rico just to get the Chicken Deluxe Sandwich again.. It was amazing !!! Beautiful Pink Latte also delicious and just as beautiful as promised. Thank you Frescura ! Editing to say that I had to come back once more before we left because it was that good. Golden Latte is just as good as the pink… Had to get the chicken deluxe again. 🤭💛

This restaurant was the culinary highlight of our trip in Puerto Rico (service highlight was Omar at Simple Foods in Luquillo!). After a week of trekking the Eastern half of the main island and several days in Vieques, I was so relieved to dine at a fully vegan establishment. No more wondering what I was eating, or thought I was eating, even after trying to confirm with the staff. I ordered the Panchito Chick’n burger and my husband ordered the dish of the day as recommended by Yamila - a rendition of Puerto Rican ‘pork’ and rice with a side of beans. Delicious and easily the best meal of the past week! Definitely ask for staff recommendations as my husband’s dish was well seasoned and inspiring. The Fit Sunrise and Orange Herbal drinks were both amazing (not just fruity but underlying spices which were spectacular). I also appreciated the English menu they kept behind the counter, the reusable utensils and compostable straws and the normal operating hours that so many other vegan establishments on the islands lacked. Great music that kept a calming atmosphere despite the odd location across from an auto shop. Just when we were on our last day in PR and feeling somewhat disappointed all around with most of our meals the past week, this was well worth the extra 30 minutes west of the airport for our last meal. A huge thanks to the Frescura staff! I could’ve eaten here every day of our trip.

Excellent choice for GREAT food, regardless if you’re vegan or not. Has a very ‘comfort’ food vibe, almost feels like fast food but in reality it’s just good food, fast. And of course, service is always on point. The staff at the register is very helpful with any questions you may have. And if you’re not used to vegan cuisine, you may have a lot! Like how can they make an Vegan Tuna melt taste better than any tuna melt I’ve ever had (it’s my go-to everytime). Ambiance is beautiful, from seating to the music. And don’t forget desert! Whether a delicious and nutritious smoothie, or an indulging chocolate hazelnut cookie, baked fresh of course!

We traveled an hour and a half to this place and despite arriving near close time the staff was super friendly and let us order. Food was out of this world and I personally would rank it as one of the best vegan restaurants across all the island. The place is very well kept and it has a pretty big parking lot (a rarity around the metropolitan area). The BBQ pulled pork quesadilla, the Nutella chocolate cake and the chocolate chip pistachio cookies are must trys.
