CESCO is an outdated and inefficient government agency plagued by long lines and unnecessary bureaucracy. Despite modern technology being available, the agency remains fragmented and non-centralized. This lack of integration forces customers to jump through hoops to resolve even simple issues.
For example, if you pay a fine at one agency, CESCO will still require a physical receipt from that agency to process your paperwork. It doesn’t matter if you have digital proof or an online transaction record; they insist on outdated, manual verification methods. This system is not only unfair but also a massive waste of time, as you’re forced to go back and forth between agencies.
The long wait times make the experience even worse. It’s common to spend hours waiting in line for something that could be resolved online or with a centralized system. This inefficiency disrupts people’s schedules and creates unnecessary frustration.
CESCO urgently needs modernization and reform to provide fair and effective service. Until these changes are made, it will remain a symbol of outdated government processes that fail to meet the needs of its citizens.
Disorganized. The person checking your papers didn't sanitizer hands between customers. Took forever for them to get to me. I saw several employees wearing mask below their noses and even one that wasn't wearing a mask. No employees sanitized hands between handling customers paperwork, they didn't sanitizer keyboards either. No employee even disinfected chairs between customers. Unreal. So disgusting this is why puerto rico has so many covid cases and why cesco is a hot spot for covid
The employee that helped me was great, however the lack of employees following mandates and protocols is the reason this island is a shot show
By far the worst most pathetic office in PR. It’s absolutely bizarre they changed the system and it’s not even ready so why roll out something that’s not ready. In order to make an appointment you have to waist your time go personally to the office make an appointment then return the next day so that they can try to handle your transaction. What normally would take 15 minutes to do anywhere in the U.S. in PR it takes 2 days 7 employees. No one is held accountable in these places. So obviously they rolled out a new system with tons of problems and the best they could do is put it on the customer to figure it out loosing time and money. Thanks for reminding me how pathetic these gov. Office in Puerto run. Everyone needs retraining. Revamp and fire all the incompetent employees. Truly embarrassing!!! What a joke.
This place has a very large and comfortable parking garage. I made an online appointment, and I was there 10 minutes before. They walk me through the process, and in 45 minutes I had my new driver's license. It was all nice and smooth.
I'm so glad that this office works by appointments because everything flows a lot smoother. The workers seem to be more relaxed and polite. I went in for a title change and it took me about 15 minutes between wait and service. The best experience in 9 years. My recientemente visit was the worse I made an appointment for 1:00 pm and was told to arrive 15 minutes earlier. I arrived 40 minutes earlier but they closed doors for lunch and weren't going to open until 1:00. When they opened everyone in line went in and when I said that I had an appointment they told me to get in line and wait my turn in line. So, what was the darn (to speak politely) appointment for.
