TRYP by Wyndham Isla Verde

I came here several weeks ago. We had a positive experience. Our flight came super late and had to check in at like 2:00 am. The front desk attendant was super nice and understanding, very professional and welcoming. The rooms are big and comfortable, but our room's bathroom had a massive leak and every time we showered the whole bathroom floor flooded. It was a minor negative aspect and this is why I took a point off. However, the rest of the experience was positive. We only stayed for one night.

We stayed in a family room with a king bed and bunk bed for five nights. The location is perfect, the hotel is beautiful, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. We especially enjoyed the convenience of the Italian restaurant in the hotel. The main drawback was the towel policy ,even though the room sleeps four, we were told the maximum towels allowed was three. This meant we had to request an extra towel daily, and sometimes had to go to the front desk late at night to get one. On two days, housekeeping said they’d return to clean our room but never came back. I understand they were busy, but it was a little inconvenient. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would return , I just hope the towel limit is adjusted to match room capacity and that housekeeping follow-ups improve.

I had a wonderful experience during my stay, and a big part of that was thanks to Jeremie at the front desk. From the moment I arrived, Jeremie went above and beyond to make me feel welcome. He was professional, friendly, and incredibly attentive to every detail. Whether it was checking me in quickly, helping with local recommendations, or just greeting me with a warm smile each day, Jeremie made my stay feel special. It's rare to encounter someone so dedicated to excellent customer service. He truly set the tone for a great visit and is a standout representative of the hotel. If you're staying here, you're in great hands with Jeremie. I can’t thank him enough for his kindness and professionalism—he made my trip that much better!

Do not stay here unless you want to fight about unauthorized charges to your credit card! I read the reviews and was skeptical, but I knew to use a credit card to keep track of it. Here I am! Unauthorized excessive charges that were not disclosed. Also, rooms are falling apart. Bathroom door was coming off the hinge, bathroom smelled of mildew and hadn’t been cleaned well, there was broken glass on our room window, curtains were broke, and there is not a lot of lighting. Again, I read the reviews but we were flying out of San Juan that next morning super early and only needed a place close to the airport and weren’t planning on staying for multiple days. Find a new hotel! The reviews are true. This hotel does not disclose charges and it is falling apart. The only positive about the hotel is the location and also the pizzeria inside the hotel was amazing.

I read the previous reviews and had doubts after I booked hotel. Upon arriving there I had the greatest experience. David at the front desk checked me in and was so professional and humble. His warm welcoming demeanor made me feel right at home he showed me around and told me about the restaurants on property. The tools were spotless clean and new. The pool was so clean I was impressed. The beach was literally across the street 1 minute walk from the hotel. So many restaurants and a casino walking distance from this hotel. I highly recommend staying here was worth every buck 😊
