Crash Boat Beach is halfway between the Ramey Air Force Base and Aguadilla and still retains some remains of its pier infrastructure from when it was used to rescue downed aircrews from Ramey Air Force Base. Now these piers remains are used as a fishing and recreation spot.
The Crash Boat Beach pier / dock was originally built with fuel pipe that pumped aircraft grade fuel for Ramey Air Force Base. As time passed, local currents dropped tons of sand into the beach and pier area, making it unusable to dock a boat at the pier.
Crash Boat Beach is now a tourism spot where vacationers participate in recreational activities, such as swimming, sun bathing, surfing, and snorkeling.

in the last weekVery nice beach. Can park on the road for free or pay $6 for a parking in front of the beach. Doing snorkel in the sink boat is quite cool.

a month agoWell kept beach. We got lucky as it was pretty empty compared to typical tourist beaches. Water was pretty clear once the sun came out. Good food spots nearby and parking lots nearby. Definitely worth the visit.

a month agoVery crowded beach with lots of garbage scattered throughout the sand. Not my favorite beach in PR but it did have very calm water that’s great for swimming.

3 months agoBeautiful. Went when there was big waves and rip current. Not a great day for swimming and snorkeling. Will try again. But, the reason for the 5 stars is the sunset. Go for the sunset and you will not regret it.

in the last weekBeautiful unique beach, awesome tropical scenery at the bottom of typical island hill, not a lot of parking but after I drove two times around, I got a spot, plenty of little places to eat and find drinks, parking fee
